EZ eMail Backup is an e-mail desktop client backup and restore tool. It can create back up copies of your e-mails, account settings, signatures, message rules, address books, and identities. It not only saves your e-mail messages, but it also saves the structure of the folders that you had set up. This tool comes preloaded with all the information it needs to back up Outlook Express, MS Outlook, Eudora, Opera Mail, and more. It can also copy your Internet Explorer bookmarks.

EZ eMail Backup operates in two ways. You can either use the app as you see it when you first launch it or use a wizard that guides you through every little step. In all honesty, the application is so easy to use that you don't really need the wizard. By simply selecting the e-mail client that you want to back up and clicking on "Create Backup!' you are good to go. After a few minutes (depending on the size of your e-mail folders), you will have an .EZB file that you can burn to a DVD for safe storing.

This tool is free and it works well. If you use one of the clients that are supported, you might want to give this one a try.

this program has saved me many hours by not having to recreate my address book. It also helps in moving your address book to another computer. It also keeps messages, signatures, etc. Great program!
